Delivery history
Staff with the View communication delivery permission can view the message delivery history for any member. This shows a log of every message Cadence has attempted to send - one row per attempt.
What each row shows
Section titled “What each row shows”- Channel - email, SMS, or push notification.
- Provider - the sending service used (for example, Postmark for email or Twilio for SMS).
- Status - whether the message was queued, sent, or failed.
- Message content - the plain text content of the message.
- Provider detail - a reference ID or error summary from the sending provider, useful when investigating a failed send.
Investigating a failed message
Section titled “Investigating a failed message”- Open the member’s profile and go to their message history.
- Find the relevant message by approximate time and channel.
- If the status is Failed, check the provider detail for an error summary - this usually indicates whether the issue is with the member’s contact details or your organisation’s provider configuration.
