Communication Templates Reference

Cadence dispatches templated communications (email, SMS, push notifications) in response to global action keys. Each action key defines when it fires, who receives the notification, and the structured variables available for rendering the templates.

Templates & Action Keys

• Enrolment Confirmation (enrollment_confirmation)

  Sent when a member is enrolled in an activity.

• Makeup Voucher Generated (makeup_voucher_generated)

  Sent when a makeup voucher is auto-generated after an excused absence.

• Member Welcome (member_welcome)

  Sent when a new member is welcomed.

• Payment Failed (payment_failed)

  Sent when a payment reaches a terminal failed state.

• Payment Received (payment_received)

  Sent when a payment is recorded for a family.

• Split Collection Blocked (payment_split_collection_blocked)

  Sent when a split guardian lacks a payment method.

• Split Collection Partial (payment_split_collection_partial)

  Sent when only some guardians in a split configuration are successfully charged.

• Policy Accepted (policy_accepted)

  Sent when a policy is accepted (family or member).

• Session Cancelled (session_cancelled)

  Sent when an activity session is cancelled.

• Voucher Expired (voucher_expired)

  Sent when a voucher has expired.

• Voucher Expiring (voucher_expiring)

  Sent when a voucher is nearing expiry.

  Sent when a voucher is issued to a member or household.

  Sent when a voucher is redeemed for a class booking.
