Guest role in another household
Someone can be a guest in a household they do not live in, for example when a friend or relative books activities through that host family. The guest role is separate from guardian and student.
What guests see in the family workspace
Section titled “What guests see in the family workspace”When a person views a household where they are a guest, they only see enrolments that household owns (the same household id stored on the enrolment). Full members in that household (guardians and students) continue to see enrolments for every member linked to the household, including bookings that are billed to another household, so that cross-household visibility stays clear for the people who need it.
Households with guests can only see enrolments owned by that household for the guest.
Ending a guest link
Section titled “Ending a guest link”You cannot remove a guest link while the person still has an active enrolment (including waitlist) owned by that host household. They need to end or drop that enrolment first, then the link can be removed, or they can rebook under the correct household if the situation changes.
Invites and consent
Section titled “Invites and consent”Linking someone as a guest normally follows an invite and consent flow. Your organisation may allow selected staff to add a guest without a prior invite.
