Move an enrolment to another activity
Used in
Use the transfer flow when a member needs to move from one activity to another - for example a different day, level, or venue. It keeps their enrolment history intact and handles any fee differences automatically.
Moving the enrolment
Section titled “Moving the enrolment”- Open the activity the member is currently enrolled in, or open their member or household record and go to the Enrolments tab.
- Find the enrolment row and select Transfer.
- Choose the destination activity from the list.
- Set the transfer date.
- Review the fee schedule shown for both the current and destination activity.
- If Cadence flags any issues, read the explanations. Some can be overridden - if so, you’ll see a tick box next to each one to approve it.
- Select Confirm transfer.
If the transfer is blocked
Section titled “If the transfer is blocked”Cadence will tell you what’s preventing the transfer. The most common reasons are:
- Transfers are turned off for that activity category
- The transfer date falls outside the allowed window for the destination activity
- The destination activity is full
- The member doesn’t meet an enrolment rule for the destination (such as age or a conflicting enrolment)
If none of the issues can be overridden, you may need to choose a different destination activity or transfer date, or contact your Cadence administrator.
